Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)
A candidate for being eligible for admission to the three-year integrated course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) must have to pass the Higher Secondary School Certificate examination (Std.XII) conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education Pune, in the following subjects :-
i) English
ij) Any one of the Modern Indian Languages, or Modern Foreign Languages or classical Indian Language.
iii) Four other subjects from among the subjects mentioned below carrying a total 400 marks.

Minimum Admission Requirement

Minimum Admission Requirement
A candidate for being eligible for admission to the first Year B.Sc. examination in Home Science.
a) Must have passed the First Year examination in Science of this University or an examination of another University or Body recognised as equivalent thereto or must have been certified by the Principal of an affiliated college to have duly completed the First Year course in Group B on or before 15th March, 1962.

Minimum Admission Requirement

For being eligible for admission to the Master of Science (Home Science) degree course by papers in the Branch of Foods, Nutrition and Dieterics, a candidate must have passed the three year Bachelor of Science degree examination of this University or of another university with the following combination of subjects viz., Chemistry (Five Units) or Microbiology (Five Units) and Biochemistry.
Holders of the Bachelor of Arts degree with specialisation in the subjects of Psychology and Sociology as Principal/Major subjects and holders of the Bachelor of Social Work degree of this University or of another University will be considered for admission to the Master of Science (Home Science) course by papers in the branch of 'Child development and Family Relations' on the merits of each individual case.
Minimum Admission Requirement
An unmarried male candidate for being eligible for admission to the B.Sc. (Nautical Sciences) degree course must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XII) examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education, Pune, or an examination of any other University or body recognised as equivalent thereto, with the following subjects :-

Minimum Admission Requirement
A candidate for being eligible for admission to the course of studies leading to the degree of Post-Certificate B.Sc. (Nursing):-
1. Must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate examination held at the end of the XIIth Standard with Science subjects i.e. with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur and Aurangabad Division or an examination of another University or body recognised as equivalent thereto.
2. Should be a nurse, midwife or a male nurse eligible for registration with Maharashtra Nursing Council, and
3. Should have minimum experience of three years completed to the satisfaction of the Nursing Superintendent of Nursing Officer of the Hospital or public Health Organisation.

a) Upon Graduates in Science, Science (Tech.), Engineering, Agricultural and upon Bachelor of Arts with Mathematics and Science and Graduates in Medicine and Surgery, of this University possessing one of the following qualifications viz. M.D., M.S., M.Sc.(Medical) who have carried on research in Anatomy, Bacteriology, Pathology, Pharmacology or Physiology.
b) Upon Masters of Science, Science (Tech.], Engineering and Agricultural and upon Masters of Arts with Mathematics or Science of this University.
c) Upon Doctors of Philosophy of this University.
d) Upon teachers in the college affiliated to this University who hold the Master's or Doctor's Degree in Science of any other University which is recognised as equivalent to the Master?s or Doctor?s Degree of this University, and who have previous teaching experience in a college affiliated to this University, extending over a period of at least seven years.
- Post-graduate Diploma in Environmental Pollution Analysis and Control (Eighteen months)
Minimum Admission Requirement
A candidate for being eligible for admission to the course for the post-graduate Diploma in Environmental Pollution Analysis and Control must have passed the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree examination of any recognised University and should have offered the following subjects at the various examinations as shown below:-
He/She must have offered Chemistry as one of the subjects at at least at the T.Y.B.Sc. and the S.Y.B.Sc. levels of the three year degree course.
He/She must have offered one of the following subjects at least at the F.Y.B.Sc. level of the three year degree course:
a) Physics, b) Botany, c) Zoology, d) Life Science) Microbiology, f) Biochemistry.
iii) He/She must have offered Mathematics or Mathematics and Statistics at the H.S.C. or equivalent examination.

The applicant should possess a B.Sc. degree of University of Mumbai or any recognised University and should have offered the following subjects at the various examinations as shown below:-
i) He /She must have offered Chemistry as one of the subjects at any one level of the three year degree course.
ii)(a) He /She must have offered one of the following subjects at least at the T.Y.B.Sc. level of the three year degree course:

b) Possessing Bachelors degree of Fishery Science/Bachelor?s degree in Horticulture / Agriculture from a Statutory University.
One Year Post-graduate Diploma Course in Food Processing and Preservation

The applicant possess a B.Sc. degree of any recognised University and should have offered the following subject at the various examinations as shown below :-

Minimum Admission Requirement
Degree of Bachelor of Science with Maths as one of the subject at H.S.C. level or at Inter Science level of this University or an examination of any other University recognised as equivalent there too.
